Inserting Animations - Julie
I found Animation Library at http://www.animationlibrary.com/ to be very user-friendly (and all their images are free). You download an image by selecting it, then right click on the picture and "save picture as". This will save it in your pictures as a gif. Then from your page or post, you add media, add an image, browse for your picture, upload and insert (like you do with a word doc).
Uploading YouTube Videos to Web Page - Clare
On any post to a page you can upload word files, images, etc. There is also an icon for video. Click here and it will ask you to paste the url to the video desired.

- Reflect on how
your new knowledge and skills developed in the Technology Strand courses will affect your practice as a teacher
or librarian or your professional work.
- Guided Reflection Questions
- Our life experiences contribute to the kind of person we become. Many of those experiences are influenced by the reward systems prevalent in our environments (school, work, family). Given your experience, education, and personality, do you consider yourself to be performance-oriented or learning-oriented? How might this self-realization impact your work with students?
- In what way does your value system, which has evolved over time and been influenced by your experience and education, impact your work with learners?
- Do you consider yourself to be creative? If so, in what way? How can you translate/transfer this creative spark to your students? Does it matter if your students are creative in ways that are different than you? Is fostering creativity in your students of interest to you? Why or why not?
- What ideas from the class do you find most compelling? What ideas do you want to learn more about? How will they impact your work in the future?
